It's not me speculating at all. The quotes in the wail say you'll go around again for 12 months in SL but no guarantees beyond that. Will paea sign a 12 month deal with rovers or a 3 or 4 year one with leeds, wire, saints, Salford, catalan or wigan? Tough choice I'd guess.

This is the same story we had last year when hudge threatened to pull out then agreed to support the losses for 12 months.

FWIW, I hope you do get a longer term solution but hope it isn't some koukash type who will get bored in a couple of years and leave Salford in the lurch

The continuity on the board for another 18 months means the coaching decision is now back in Hudgell's hands. Will the discussions slated for Easter now take place? Guessing CS will stall until 26th May, using derby victory as leverage.

This is indeed hopefully a "short term fix" to relieve a very pressing matter , but it is not the investment that you suggested at all , this is a sticking plaster that will merely ensure the club does not have to go into admin or drop out of SL, the problem will simply re-arise in a year or two unless a wealthy backer is found or the new stand assists in a push to the next level..both odds against at the minute...

RL needs investment and can't be picky where it comes from. It's not sustainable without benefactors (large or small).

I think this probably secures sandy for at least another year. I doubt you would get an established coach for what sandy earns (I don't pretend to know what that is but just can't imagine it's a lot) and another inexperienced one would be unlikely to be any better

pearson has been in Hull for a decade, used to own the other tenant of our stadium, used to own the company that runs our stadium and has a successful track record of improving sporting clubs. koukash buys horses

As was yours about Koukash buggering off in a couple of years. I know it's standard on here to pass opinion off as fact, but it's my job as a fully paid up member of the Pedant Club to challenge tripe.
