If you give us £60 you can have Jamie Rooneys book for a discount price but only before the end of July.
You can also be first in line to pay full price for a Slazenger Cricket Bat.
Other offers will be revealed throughout the year but done get too excited, it is more because we need the cash to pay for some air conditioning and a tv showing hardcore porn all day long!!

It's not a rip off. For £60 you get £42 off your pass, £10 off your kc ticket, £5 spend in the shop and £5 off each shirt. Ok, it aint fantastic, but if you're a pass holder who buys a shirt and is planning on going to the kc derby, you will save (albeit not much) more than the £60 outlay.
I'm undecided because I dont have a spare £60 kicking around at the mo, but looking at it as paying off some of my pass now with less to pay later is probably the main 'selling point' for me.

I'm sure there are plenty who will without even realising that they've had their pass price increased by 20+% in the middle of the worst recession in living memory.
Wonder what the match day prices will be if a pass is £220
Just sounds like a way to bring in a chunk of money mid season to me. Wonder why they want to do that?

If the main benefits are well in the future though surely it makes more sense to launch it at the same time as the passes rather than asking fans to dip into their pockets mid season, right at the time most of those who have some spare cash are probably using it to go on holiday.

| Sorry but if prices go up by the alledged 20+% Hudgell is making a big mistake. For that kind of increase I would want Grand Final certainty a Challange Cup final spot, cheerleaders like Wakkey, Someone to pick me up and drop me off at home, a cushion for my seat, free booze at the bar and Rufus to fan me at halftime on a warm day.
Not much to ask surely.

You already do that with Mills, Spaven, Esders and Watts.
Do you think you have enough information on what the value is for the £60 vs being, to quote your operations manager, "just a fan" who only buys a regular season ticket? Serious question.

| Some details on the Rovers site now. Junior membership really does appear to be free - although it doesn't include all the benefits (notably the half price derby ticket), season tickets are frozen for 2010 [iand[/i 2011.
The Roving scheme seems, perhaps literally, to be unbelievably good value:
Roving Far and Wide - Your Team, Your Dream
Match Day Programme and DVD for each home game
One free away match ticket for specified matches
5 to spend in store during September
Club Rovers Player of Year Voting Rights
Exclusive Membership Card
For £60!!! This compares very favourably with the current virtual season pass. Okay, some of the stuff is selling a 'dream' rather than anything tangible, but the DVDs, programmes and a ticket for (hopefully for me) Quins is pretty good.
I don't think the club are trying to milk fans. Loyalty doesn't pay players wages or get new stands built, cash does. And people who choose not to join this scheme only lose out in the sense that getting a KC derby ticket will be more difficult, though I believe there were different issues this year anyway.
Season ticket hikes are another issue. Even there though, we can't expect benefactors to take losses indefinately. To an extent we might have to choose between cheaper tickets and a weaker team, and paying more for continued success.

AFAIK none of the above are expensive foreign players and regularly play for the reserves if not in the first team squad.
HTH.

Where exactly do you have to live to get the 'roving far and wide' deal though? West Hull? Cott?
Not very clear is it.

Not a problem, I do not expect prices to stick forever or go down but you have to raise them carefully to appease not whack a Glazier type hike on in one go.

| bit of a shock how many FC fans are putting there 2 pence worth in about something that shouldn’t really concern them.
the way i see it is it’s a chance to show our support to the club get some good perks out of it and let the club make a few quid.
if people can’t afford it they don’t have to get one it’s no big deal. i personally would give them £60 quid if Hugell said "look we need some money to build the stands up"

What about the Hull KR fans posting about Crocker, Friday night games at the KC, City kicking Hull out of the KC, James Rule banning Dullside FM, Richard Agar, Aunty Kath, Paul King..........
Fact is there are retards supporting both clubs, problem is most of them have now got accounts on RLFans
