With regards to TC, I thought that some news may have come through by now via the various media channels, especially considering that the consultation with the specialist was apparently earlier on today.

He seemed to indicate on the SL show that he might be OK but was waiting to hear is he needed to "go under the knife". Seemed pretty relaxed and said he hoped to be fit for the next derby. Certainly didn't act like a bloke who thought his paying days were over

I've watched TC talking to Tanya Arnold on the BBC SL Show on The I-player. He was positive and upbeat.

You're right. He seems like it could be a few weeks out or under the knife and back next season, dependent on the outcome of his final medical consultation in London today.

The bottom line is any talk about his knee injury being career ending is plainly speculative and simply wide of the mark at this point. So if you are guilty of stoking this career ending line of debate on this thread, please elaborate as to how you come by this information and justify it's authenticity. If not not, suggest you keep to the facts.

face it even if he comes back it won't be long before he's injured again , his knees are fooked simple as that , it was a risk signing him in the first place as was handed him another contract . A risk you probably had to take tbf

He's got no pace and is finished, never cut it in super league. He was also going to Wigan once the last bit was proved to be rubbish. All this was common knowledge.

Be best to come to an agreement with TC, whilst not his 'bad knee' he does have problems with this one too.

shame for the bloke, as no one wants to see bad injuries,but once your knees are giving this much problem there will always be a question mark about them giving way again, one things for sure you will miss him as a very good player

Agree 100%,I think it will be tough to come back after major problems with both knees now,as I posted terry knew on sunday his season was over,and sadly perhaps his career ?

If we are lucky he might just be available for Week 1 next season, but will miss the entire preseason. If we are sensible, he will begin playing for us again around Easter next year. If like some of my fellow posters you are glass half empty, then you'll be thinking he may be announcing his retirement from the game in 12 months time.

I personally think he will make it back on to the park and we will get a minimum of 15 good games from him next year. The guy oozes class and is very determined.

It's ok being glass half full but serious injuries to both knees doesn't look good for him long term. He's class yes but personally I doubt we'll see him in a Rovers shirt again, just my opinion.

do you think rovers will give him time to recover and play again? its a funny one as some will argue he should whilst others will want to get shut now and find a replacement, as ive said when on the pitch a class act but is it worth the risk?
