You and your better half going?



Not really, I just think you need an individual game plan for each game, and your opposition in ordeer to maximise your chances of winning.

We need to have a really simple game plan, if we win tomorow we'll, win because we get our defense right.

We've had far too many games against Leeds that have been cracking games of rugby league where Danny McGuire et al have sored in the last threee minute.

All about the points, I love free flowing rugby, but early season rugby is about getting points on the board, look at the table from the last nineteen seasons and after about ten rounds, there's very lttle movement in that five to eight lague that we'll be invilvd in.

What state do you think the pitch will be in, has it been used much over the off season?

Sun is shining, hopefully stays that way. I agree with the goose if we make it a forawrd slug and kick them long we have a chance, let them play expansive and we get spanked. We have to look after the ball.

Starve the centres of the ball, chances increase ten fold.
I think our forwards will dominate definately. I'd bet burns to do a similar job to what he did to Danny brought last year, in his face and put sinfield out of rhythm. Saying that he tried against FC and failed miserably

heard it's going to be a mudbath mate.

CS has gone with Charlie/Welham in pre-season and I can't see it changing even though I think Disco is far more effective on the left.

I am surprised Jordan Cox has been omitted and I hope Green gets the nod but CS does like Horne in his team so I can see him missing out.

My mate Bonsey is staying tight lipped on how Travis fared in his fitness test but I think Craig will do a good job if Travis doesn't make it.

IMO todays game will be a brutal forwards battle; it brings Poore face to face with Bailey, and I am sure Weyman and Peacock will be wanting to get one over the other. There's also a bit of history between Josh and Aiton. Bring it on !

The big question today is how will Buster go in his debut SL match. I haven't seen anything as yet to suggest he is going to take SL by storm but by his own admission he has been gently easing himself in. A lot is expecting of him today so good luck to him.

I'm going to jinx it all now by predicting a narrow Rovers win and Charlie first try scorer.

I seem to read this a lot these days, that most teams in Superleague believe their forward pack is better than ours. Just what is this based on exactly? Is it league wins? No can't be that we've finished within the top five for the last 10 years. Is it cup wins? No can't be that we're one of the most successful sides in recent years. Is it in terms of meters made? No can't be that we made the most meters in the league last year.

It's amazing how we've ever won anything, with all our average players it seems. Especially with our starting england captain and most successful captain ever linking up with the superleagues top try scorer at halfback.

Very scrappy with neither side able to complete their sets.

6-14 after 56 mins to Leeds Briscoe double.

Make that a Briscoe hat trick. 6-18.

Turned into a bit of spanking, this second half. Still got that 'if we let in 1 we'll likely let in 2 or 3 more in quick succession' thing going on.
Leeds are a good team, but it feels like a half chance missed. Hopefully we can get one back as consolation for the good crowd that has turned out.
