Well we do that's our only goal each and every season; and once again we're doing a grand job of it.

Dodged some bullets tonight but what a gutsy effort. Tight knock on call for Edens 1st but nice to get benefit of the doubt for a change, rest of VR decisions were all correct...obviously wasn't Ganson! Can't beleive Gleeson actually played or that Hudds thought getting rid of Greg Eden was a good idea

I don't intend to get into this dick measuring competition, because on the basis of this weekend we would lose. If we'd defended better, if we'd kick the goals we should have done, then we would have won. But we didn't and, therefore, we lost. Well done Rovers, that's a cracking win and you actually did us a small favour by not allowing Cats to pull further away from us.

Thought Gleeson looked very good with ball in hand, looking forward to seeing him with a few more games under his belt. Very good to say he's been out all season as well.

Nice result for Gleeson to be a part of on his debut - how did he do?

Looked dangerous with ball in hand. Made a great break in the 2nd half.

Ta - gives us a good extra option for the run in, hopefully.

Saw the 2nd half. Gleeson looked a threat every time he had the ball. Got a great off load, runs good lines and reads the defence well. His defence leaves a lot to be desired but as with all our players Sandercock will start to work on that.

Gleeson got two great tries at the KC last season and we could have a very good attacking centre on our hands. Paterson and the forwards were out standing today and bossed the dragons forwards. Burns was great but his shoulder looked in a bad way at the end. Eden got a wonderful hat trick and gets better and better.

Gleeson has certainly evolved as a player since the days when he was playing for Widnes in the national leagues against ourselves. I would have never had said he could make a super league player if you'd of asked me back then.

Gleeson did well just to last the eighty in that heat and at that pace, the poor lad looks several deeper shades of pink from yesterday morning, I'll forgive his terrible flick pass on the second tackle in the first half.

Forwards got a little over run at times, great performance from Cox, really standing up lately.

I was looking forward to seeing Escare, but Eden blew him away, the kid was dynamite tonight.

Casty was immense for Catalans and it took a really gutsy performance to get home.

My face is the colour of a lobster that someone forgot to take out of the pot and my voice is completely gone.

The atmosphere was terrific and how on earth Rovers managed to play in that heat is beyond me.

I thought Keal Carlile stint was top notch, the sooner we hear he has been re-signed the better.

I must say I could have throttled Mika in those dying minutes

, what on earth goes through his head at times, that pass (literally to Menzies) could have easily lost the game when all he had to do was take the tackle. Its not the first time he has done this, in fact I have lost count of how many times he has done this. Will he ever learn? Perhaps CS ought to plan Mika's time on the pitch to not include the last ten minutes



Also, I don't know about anyone else, but waiting for each of those video ref calls seemed like Ganson revisited followed by relief when the correct call was made



Oh and what a game winning conversion from Dobbo. He hasn't been on song with his goal kicking this season(compared with others) but he showed nerves of steal to slot that one over.

There will be plenty of aching bones and sinew from both sides after that bruising encounter; Burns looked the worse for wear but he's as tough as old boots and will hopefully recover for the four-pointer against Saints.

Amazing game and occasion wasn't it chief, feel really privileged to have shared in it. Games like that that make it all worth while.
