I'm hoping last week both teams wanted to go out and put a attacking show on, Leeds tightened up there defence last night so I guess tomorrows game will be a better reflection of where we are,
and we don't really want to be 4 points behind Wakefield with Wigan up next for us

Horne had a great game on Sunday and is one of our most under valued players by the supporters and it's no coincidence he gets picked week in and week out. Ive always been a Welham fan but last week brought it home to me. He clearly can not rectify this deficiency in his game he defends like he's been watching DVDs of how Leeds SHOULD attack. And as said on here campese was very poor in defence too

Horne has been falling off tackles all his career back to before losing the grand final for our neighbours. Not strong enough. Brave and puts the effort in but gets ran over by bigger players. Wouldn't get in any other side in the comp.

Welham Sinfield targets every game we play them and.....
The individuals we've bought are all good defenders Dixon excepted. Their careers prove that. Campese is a very good defender but the shambles inside and outside him left him exposed Sunday. They were up against the best centre in the country as well.
Horne and Welham in the same channel is a 18 point start for the opposition.

Let me put it another way seeing as you are either not getting the point or are a little bit dim, Leeds back division will make better teams than us look rubbish, maybe we shouldn't write off our defensive ability off after one game against what many believe to be one of the best back divisions in the league.

Horne's a right edge player. Never looks as comfortable on the left imo but we're short of options.

I think it will be tough but I fully expect us to win!

As for Horne and the second row, our best two players in that position are both out out injured, Larroyer and Donaldson. Horne for me would possibly get a start on the bench due to been able to cover at centre.

I hope Chester is right with his pack selections because Wakey have a big robust pack led by the inspirational Kirmond.

Many people have spoken about the negatives to last weeks performance but I thought it was a fantastic spectacle; a couple of crucial mistakes by Thaler influenced the result but overall for a first outing I was very impressed. If we can build on that performance then I see no reason why we won't bring the points home today.

There is a break coming up for the WCS so there will be no excuse for leaving anything in the tank; I'm expecting another high scoring free flowing game but this time in favour of Rovers.

If we lose today would it be to early to think we are not going to make top 8?

No if you are a glass half empty person like my old man, but yes if you are a glass half full person like me.
I have been fortunate enough to make good and reasonably effective judgements for the most part in my lifetime and I think this is a better Hull KR team than last year and a team that will go well in SL this year.
I expect us to win today but not by the comfortable margin of last season's games versus Wakey as they have improved too.
If the Rovers team are fortunate to be blessed with my positivity then they will view the Leeds games one they should have won and probably would have done if it was played around week 4 instead of week 1.
Rovers to win by 10 points and come 4.45pm this afternoon, I am convinced all negativity will be consigned to history. COYR.

Sounds like a game with little structure. Playing what is front of us, not really working. Rovers sound to be very error prone and to be struggling defensively. 16-12 wakefield, half-time. If one team manages to find a bit of composure, they win I reckon.

At the game, letting wakey play the ball to quick, need to slow it down.

I am mystified. Hull KR has a better squad than Wakefield. Yet they lose. Something is wrong with the coaching staff. I would give Christopher Chester four weeks to get results. Otherwise he has to go. There are plenty of competent but unemployed coaches in Australia.

This result shows what I know. All my earlier optimism and positivity about our new team doesn't seem to be translating to the players and coaching team yet. This result will damage confidence, no doubt. Still early days.
Listened to the Radio Humberside commentary.
6 key shortcomings today namely defence, passion, composure, errors, fitness and game management.
If these aren't fixed for Wigan, then another drubbing likely.
Chester needs to get angry and get the players to show more desire. I suspect he's got until week 5. No improvement and he's toast.

Outplayed by a better coached and fitter team.
