Well use the match fees paid to the touch and in goal judges for starters, then the clubs and the RFL should then contribute. Most coaches are linked up with head sets to the bench and we now have cameras at ever SL game for highlights, I really dont think the costs would be that high.

They tried it at the last cp derby and it was a success but the rfl decided not to go ahead with it due to high costs.

Think you need 6 cameras and other stuff for each game.

It's a tricky one i suppose, I really think that over the next few seasons the demand for video replays at every game will snowball. The game is simply getting faster and more intense and im afraid to say that the officials are not good enough to cope.

I don't agree with Justin or any other coach publicly having a go at the ref. Their job is hard enough anyway.

But it's obvious that refs have had a directive to be more lenient at the play the ball and this has been a gift from heaven for Nathan Brown.

Holding down, wrestling and interfering at the play the ball is the platform around which the Giants game is built this season.

Ben Thaler seems to have taken 'lenient' to a new dimension and stretched it to 'anything goes'.

I think the Giants and Nathan Brown should enjoy it while the going is good. It's only a matter of time before the RFL realises that they need to go back to promoting a quick play the ball.

Nathan Brown is fresh from Australia where slow play the balls and wrestling techniques have been in vogue for a while. Over here you would normally get penalised out of a game for that, but things seemed to have changed at least for now.

Suddenly we get another World Cup beating and the RFL decide we'll do whatever the Aussies are doing.

The Giants can play good rugby too there's no doubt about that. It'll be interesting to see how they get on later in the season when inevitably, the destructive side of their game plan is clamped down on.
