As great a bloke as he is he just doesnt run his weight, not that he's a pudding just he tries to get a play the ball away quickly when he needs to be really pushing for more yards.

One thing he does have is a good off load but again rarely gets a chance to use it in a SL game due to the lack of confidence he has at the moment just wants to do the small things right.

Dont think he had a bad game at prop today, there again no forward had a particularly bad game!

if im honest i dont want cooke to go straight back into the team i like chaz playing at 6 and he hasnt put a foot wrong yet and his tackling is 100% better than cookes why no leave him in the first team he is forming a good link with dobson and it seems to be bringing the best out in dobson

I'Anson had a better game today and I'd expect him to get the nod next week though I expect Cooke will come back into the fold for his favourite fixture against FC

Nothing more certain than Cooke and Vella coming back for that game and masterminding our customary tonking. We've got 2 days less turnaround as well, so that should seal it. Such is life

Slowly but surely, Rovers' continuity is enabling them to prove their class.

Some teams are gonna take some punishment when Vella returns to the side - starting with FC on Good Friday...

Rovers have to be clear favourites don't they? 3-1 last year vs a team that finished next to bottom and has played only useless teams so far this season. Plus Cooke and Vella freshened up and straight back into it. There can only be one result.

Whilst confidence is growing in the FC camp wrapping up wins against injury ravaged packs and they are certainties for top 6 IMO, I think they'll come unstuck against the likes of Vella, Fozzard, Newton & Galea - dress it up how you like but Cusack, Dowes, Tickle & Manu are not in the same class as complete forwards...

The likes of Calderwood, Greame Horne etc. don't exactly make me worried...
