Why are the away numbers at Craven Park so low, I know we don`t have the best of stadiums but 90% of the time you can count the away fans in 10 seconds, even Leeds hardly brought any. True supporters follow there team anywhere at any ground, I have followed Rovers away quite a lot over the last 15 years or so and been to some right tips of grounds as have thousands of others
It just really bugs me as I feel the atmosphere in the East Stand degenerates as a result.

The South Stand is just too expensive.

I reckon their was about 30 odd from Salford today, as we say it's only all Hull RL supporters on the whole who travel in good numbers, nobody can compete with the two in that department.

There was more than 30! i would say about 200 which i know isnt great but its about 5% of there home attendance which is not that bad really when it is very expensive to sit in the north stand and no point in going int he south.

It's not expensive if they get their heads together and take Rovers up on the deal of buying tickets in bulk.

There was a group of us who bought the bulk tickets which was a good offer.I actualy counted our fans today and the grand count was 154!!!
We were the true true die hards!And lets face it you would have to be to watch that and the rest of the games we have seen so far this year!

It's difficult for a side that doesn't get the greatest home following to tempt people into parting with cash to travel away to watch them get a good ting.

It may have been different if there had been even a minute chance of an upset, but the way my team is playing at the moment even the die-hard fans have had enough. It's not even about losing. It's the clubs inability to make decent progress on the field in the last 10 years...

Things are bad when loyal fans just feel apathetic instead of annoyed. When you love your club and you see it slowly fading away over time when there has been plenty of time to change its fortunes, it's a sad day.

if you read the league express then you'll know why,for anyone who doesn't then some smartass said the reason is both hull clubs travel well is because they are glad of the chance to get out of hull



as for away crowds being low at craven park, then again i think the answer is in league express my friends

if you have followed rovers a lot over the last 15 years then you'll be only too aware of rovers' poor away followingas over that period of time,not everyone follows a truly great and succesful club

I don't see how one week a set of fans (Celtic) can say how much of a good time they had and how welcome they were made to feel and then another week a different set of fans say how horrible it is.

Unless Rovers fans have some irrational hatred of everybody but Celtic that is....

Hudds fans should give threads about away support a wide berth seeing as yours is amongst the lowest in SL and shows little sign of getting any better.

people are different, what some people find friendly others find intimidating, its the lay of the land im afraid, personally apart from the odd mouthful ( spittle included) and bottle thrown ( back in the days when anyone could use the terracing) i've never had a problem with rervers fans

ours is amongst the lowest yes no-one will argue with that but we have had very good followings at all grounds this season im sure we will bring more than what you guys are expecting on easter monday
