Anthony Blackwood, celtic centre or wing, no better than what we already have but super league experience.

Regarding Blackwood, as we only have 1 recognised centre in the squad and has Super League experience, he is, by default, better than what we already have. |

I've raised this issue ealier, but one reason Matt James left Quins was due to him being home sick. He was therefore looking for a local club (Yorkshire) to join because he didn't want to travel far. However who knows until it's confirmed. |

Homesick fair enough, but it doesn't take half a days travel to get to Barrow for training and match days. He could quite easily commute a couple of nights a week.. |

We've heard it all before mate.
He's so average that he played against Saints just last week.
I remember all the silly posts throughout last season about our signings - Bauer, the Oldham 5 etc etc. They were all 'average' and 'not up to it'.
I would have thought that Halifax fans, of all people, would have realised that we don't sign just average players anymore.

Blackwood was fantasic when he was at the Shay, a real worker if nothing else. If he still has that form, it's a great addition.
