| Can’t have been far from Man of the Match.
Didn’t hear any announcement.
We really do need to keep hold of him now!!

Tbh I thought he appeared to be motm in the match where Chris Kendall robbed them of victory over Fiji but couldn't see it announced either.
His performance makes me think he should displace Chase in the halves and we should get another hooker. Or Chase at fb as I vaguely remember someone on here suggesting a while ago?

I think at the time it was because we had had a lot of makeshift fullbacks and wanted an our and out fullback. Also we were probably thinking you get a player with the x factor of Chase in our league you play him in his best position but tbh based on current form I'd say Watson is out playing him.

| At the time I felt Boas and Beharrell was working pretty well. My reasoning for Rangi at FB was based on his unpredictable style shall we say. I thought FB would allow him to play without being constrained by the more structured game we would expect from our halves. Still a possibility for me

| Really pleased for Watson Boas. I'm sure it'll be a day he'll never forget.
I wasn't bothered about the GB performance, just wanted Watson and the PNG lads to do well.
Well done to them all!

| It speaks volumes of the attitude of the GB players , when its pointed out numerous times by the BBC commentary team that GB are being systematically dismantled by players playing in the second and third tiers of the game in both hemispheres.
Bennett needs to be shown the door asap, no passion for England or GB just another pay check for the supposed super coach.
Why fly a recognised winger in Ash Handley half way round the world to play , and then leave him out to play Austin there, it beggars belief .
He took his try well but made a few howlers under the high ball and carrying the ball out of defence which put GB under sustained pressure.
With half the team playing out of position what chance did GB really have.
Well done to Watson and the PNG boys who were up for the game from the off.
The prop carrying the ball from the kick off, resulting in James Graham leaving the field after the first contact set the standard for what was a fantastic performance.
How bad must it be to be a Warrington fan knowing your superstar half back, who will be taking a large chunk of your salary cap has just been played off the park by a guy playing for Doncaster, in the lowest tier of professional rugby.
Well done to Club Doncaster on securing Watson on a two year deal , I am sure after that performance clubs will come knocking for his signature.
