We are sending 5 players on a season long loan for next year, what positions are you needing most? i think it will be lads who are fringe players in our starting 17 and a few lads who are just going full time this will bring them on heaps and will do good for your squad + Cookie will be good for them as a coach with his knowledge, win win imho.

I'm very excited about this. I hope that the season long loan deals won't be like the one we got with James Clare last year (not that I rated/rate him). That being said everything we've heard on here so far suggests that this is all being done in the right spirit and will benefit both clubs immensely. I am now getting quite excited about the season ahead.

To answer easthull fc fan's original question our most immediate concern is in the forwards. We only have 4 props and 3 out and out backrowers.

ps do we think Andrew Ward mentioned on here yesterday will be one of the 5?

I will be happy if D*** R** is not mentioned in the agreement.

No doubt it will all be cleared up when all the detail is announced .

There has been one Hull FC player name I had heard mentioned that if true I'd be both surprised and delighted in equal measures

Not sure who they'll send but if they don't play better than what we have in the squad then they don't play IMO.
From what I've seen over the last few years most "loan" & "DR" players are just being shown the door a year early anyway; with the hope they can secure a place with a Championship team in the future. Note I say most! Also names mentioned so far doing nothing for me so let's see how it goes......can't do anything else.

Adam , I think Chris Green is a regular at FC & played for England Knights last week end .
