The clocks are being turned back a few years on Sunday when the ex-players of the Dons will be taking on Sheffield Eagles ex-players as a curtain raiser at the Keepmoat Stadium.
A selection of confirmed former Dons stars who will be donning their boots once again are: Audley Pennant, Maea David, Neil Turner, Kev Jones, Fata Sini, Keith Jones, and Dons legend and club president Stewart Piper.
The game will start at 1.45pm with two 20 minute halves. Turnstiles will be opening up at 1.30pm which gives you plenty of time to take your seat.
It promises to be a very entertaining afternoon of quality rugby league and is certainly one not to miss.
Tickets are on sale now and prices for the Northern Rail Cup South Yorkshire derby are as follows:
:: Adults - £10 early bird/£12 match day
:: Concessions - £8 early bird/£10 match day
:: Juniors (5-16) - £2
:: Under 5's go free

| sounds like a good bit of fun, a shame i cant see it, wont arrive until 2nd half half of main game due to Wednesday V United Derby, surprised the Kick off time wasnt changed as a number of Eagles fans will miss the keepmoat game  |

Have to ask then based on that post what your priority is. Really don't think the Dons and Eagles game start time should be altered for Sheffield fans whose first love appears to be Football.
And that IMO is the difference between the two Rugbymen Baz .  |

To be fair, if he is attending the game for just the second half, that shows some commitment. It is just bad luck, and maybe the sheffield eagles club should have made something of it, maybe they did i have no idea.
As for football or rugby league? , the latter for me any day of the week.
