I was hoping next Widnes coach when I saw him, but that performance has bought DB some more time. Great, gutsy show. Credit to all, including the coaching staff.

We certainly are, thank you Widnes, for a cracking game, just shows what the Widnes team is capable of. Defensively the lads did the vikings fans proud with 12 men against one of the best attacks in the league.

Not only did this team do it with 12 men for 42 minutes but they had a short 4 day turnaround, remarkable win by Widnes

Amazing, brilliant, sensational, breathtaking, superb. I don't know what to say, in over 28 years of watching Wire I've never seen such a commited performance. I really enjoyed the game as even though we lost in a weird, strange way, Too many times we play games and smack people, it was great to see a contest. Great to see Widnes on the right track.

That's really big of you. Just shows that not all Widnes and Warrington "fans" are morons. Some have been fighting each other for 40 years over 26 men chasing a ball around for 80 minutes. Sorry for our s continuing the saga. As you say, it was a great game played under atrocious conditions and has given us long-suffering Widnes fans a much needed lift before the winter.

also i can see similarities in our clubs, both been relegated and been the whipping boys of super league (you didnt have to go threw an awful merger mind!) but takes time to rebuild and looks at us now... be patient... may be you in another 8 years or so, taken us 10 at least in the super league era
