| Hi All, I'm putting together an article on players who we released and/or left us at the end of last season and I'd like to get Widnes fans' thoughts on how Chaz has fared this year. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers,
hkrloyal

| I think Chaz has gone pretty well, he made a good recovery from a serious knee injury and is now vice captain of the team. I think as the seasons gone on he's become more influential, he has good hands and a decent short kicking game. He seems to be enjoying his stint in Widnes and i recon he will come up to Super League with us, his community work has also been excellent from what im hearing out the club.

| I like him as a player. I think he has good hands and seems quite a canny player on his day. At times he shows that he is coming into his own from the attacking angle putting players through gaps and some smart kicks through.
He is improving all the time and it will be interesting to see how he is doing at the end of the season.

| I'll just copy in something I put elsewhere t'other day...
Was going to post on Chaz as I think he's been excellent and looking more settled now. His short balls at the line have got us plenty if scores all season and he can spread it well too. Our short kicking game still needs work but long is a lot better than for a number of years. Ok he may hit the man on the full a bit too often but he has greater length (behave) then any I can think of since we have come down. Major questions about his injury record but he's been fine and also worth recognising the rehabilitation he will have had to go through from those injuries.

| His kicking style is a little unauthodox at times. But it is varied, just what you need

| I think that this season could be described as unsettled at best for Chas. Having returned from a major, season-long injury blow he came into a squad promising to deliver a lot this season, but distracted by a bigger carrot.
With internal rifts around him and a changeable line-up Chas has fared as well as anyone in the squad which has, as a whole, lacked formation and cohesion.
His lack of early season confidence was visible, although as the season progresses this is returning and we are starting to see more of his repertoire.
I would suspect that next season could see him in his prime, although I don't think it will be in a Widnes shirt.

| He's found his level in the championship hasn't he. Not a chance should he be taken into superleague with you.

Wouldn't go that far, hardly played in 2 seasons with injury for KR did he? I think he's nailed on for SL deal, whether that be as starter or back up remains to be seen.
