Hopefully Chris Dean will be with us this week and fingers crossed for Ford and Kohe Love.

Is it me or have times changed? Twenty year ago, if a player got injured he was back within a fortnight (barring a bone break). Now, they're out for months. Back then though you got paid for playing - there was none of this "here's your contract - take it easy for 12 months". I know the game has got faster and the likelihood of injury has risen but i still think that the surety of the contract leads to a longer recovery time.

It's quite interesting that we have enough left on the salary cap that season to employ someone to just be a laugh.

Wasn't the problem that he waltzed off with quite a bit of some of the players salaries??? Maybe this is where the allowance came from?

Not forgetting Higson going off (or stumbling off, should I say) after taking a monster of a high shot that both Ronnie Laughton (who had his back to play at the time) and the linesmen missed, with the penalty eventually being given by the fourth official!

No idea who the Pie lad is but heard McCarthy,Blyth and Mitchell from Wire.

Black, Penky, Aizue, Maloney and Greenwood are still out for us.
