Both are in the first year of three year contracts. Unless they both have clauses in them, in case Super League clubs come in for them, it will be very expensive for whoever wants to take them off our hands.

Both would be better off staying with us until 2012. If we get a licence they will be more ready for SL and if we don't, they can then go on to another club with the likely chance of being played every week in their first team. If they go now, especially to Saints, they'll probably spend most of their time in the reserves. I'm not too sure why either of them would go to Salford anyway.

I can't imagine they'll go unless some big transfer fees are involved. Kavanagh, in particular, has the calibre to succeed in SL.

Both players have massive potential and that potential should be realised with the Vikings. A firm thanks but no thanks for any bids that come in for them. Saints have a good youth setup as it is so shouldnt be pinching neighbours talent.
