Surely a win for Leigh will see them safe. Still, on the bright side at least if Toulouse don't win we are guaranteed a play-off place.

If Leigh win today, and then get beat by Gateshead, They'll still be a point ahead of them in the table.

This year has been close at the bottom as well as the top. If Leigh win today they go level on points with Toulouse. Just a few weeks ago, Toulouse were being talked about as finishing in the top 3.

On a good day, they might get 2 wins, but certainly all of those games are losable. The worst they could end up on is 27 points.

Batley have 26 points and have to play:

Gateshead have 23 points and have to play:
Leigh (h)
Barrow (a)
Doncaster (a)

Looking at those, I would say Leigh will end up on 28 (providing Fax play as they can), Batley will have 27, and Gateshead 29. I think Leigh are certainly in the driving seat at the minute as Batley have really tough fixtures. If Batley can win on Thursday though, it will really put the cat amonst the pigeons.

I expect Batley to get something out of both games they have left , they showed their resilience on Sunday at the rec scoring in the 79 th minute to grab a point
