I know probably touhced upon this in the other thread, but played really well last night IMO. As an out and winger he is probably better than Penny IMO. Not half as quick, but looked relatively safe last night, and that try was exceptional. Stood out a mile for me, shame he is in a losing team all too often.

Agreed Bertie. Flynn is a real star in the making and is much more than an adequate fill in for Penny.

Don't get me wrong, Penny is great to watch and his enthusiasm is infectious but Paddy has the better all round game when you factor in his strength and defence.

Aye toa was a huge loss last night. Their centre Harrison caused them two some problmes on that side.

I'd love to see Harrison alongside him, but he'll be on big money at Barrow. Hopefully James Ford, if we are in fact signing him, will strike up a good partnership with Paddy.

Nixon is a player who should be in Super League.

Interesting to see how far Flynn will go. Big clubs have been in for him in the past, so there's obviously something there. I think if he is nurtured properly he has potential to be a decent SL winger. A bit like Ade Gardner.

Had to look up a few past posts of J86 and I can confirm the dude seems to be genuine

From what I can remember didn't we try to get Harrison back in 2005 or 2006 but he wanted to stay loyal to Barrow? Now Barrow are obviously in a much better position than they were back then and our stock has possibly fallen a bit, I'd be very surprised if he wanted to leave them for us - especially with him being from there.

Not to long ago Quins were chasing Nixon and he opted to stay with his hometown club, so your theory has its flaws my friend.

I think Flynn is a good player, the only fault is he isn't very good under the high ball, but you can always work on that.

There'll probably be a bit of a merry go round at the end of this season, with there being a lower SC.

To be honest I doubt we'd go for Harrison now, because we've had problems with players traveling to training in the evening. Coming back and to from Barra wouldn't be an attractive prospect for Harrison.

We'll just have to wait and see.
