has anyone noticed an improvement in fitness levels since mick took the strength and conditioning job? just wondering, as just before the world cup he used to train with a few ireland players in my gym and he used to put them (and him) through some gruelling sessions! always through he would be a good fitness coach since seeing him training

I think he has actually come in and had his genes grafted into the forwards. They certainly play with a lot more power and aggression. Just ask Watene and Tamghart

MIck has done a sterling job with fitness. He seems to have instilled a belief too, especially amongst the pack, a few are starting to give less penalties away now also. Our front row admittedly is a lot stronger with Morro 100%, but I feel with MC on board we now have a mentor for some of the younger lads in the pack. For me Pickersgill has been awesome this past 4-6 games. Can't fault him, also nice steady improvement from Kavannagh and Ossy.

PS It was TOC who went toe to toe with 'Big Gordon' and IIRC Tez came out on top.
