How afford 4 of them under the salary cap?

Not sure if this is correct, bus because deakin still owns the players contracts- there is no transfer fee of any sort. So it doesnt effect the salary cap ?

Out of all those I would say that Dave Allen was potentially the best.. certainly before his drug ban but I'm not sure how he has gone recently.

James Coyle is okay... Don't think Danny Halliwell is anything to get too excited about.

I would say that they are all fairly average signings to be honest. Probably just a case of bumping up the numbers up there but none of them will prove to be the inspiration that you need.

We can only assume that the numbers add up as the RFL would be on them already.. but how many players have you let go to make room? Just Brocklehurst isn't it?
I believe Rooney is on a small mint up there.

What has happened at Barrow is a little bizarre to say the least. Changing the coach when they are second in the league, and then bring in 4 players in one go, is a little disruptive to the team to say the least. Be interesting to see what happens, but lets remember, these 4 were playing in Championship 1 for a reason.

I really rated James Coyle, thought he was fighting a losing battle at times. Played on his own for much of the year without a recognised partner at six, as well as playing several games with lots of strapping due to injury.

What? The salary cap is a cap for salaries, not transfer fees - otherwise it would be called a Transfer Cap. There is no salary cap for the Championship - well, no effective one anayway. I think that will change next year.

That's pretty much the way I feel about it too.

I am quite concerned about the injury to Duffy and no news about a new centre. I really do hope we've signed someone, because we really need to make the play-offs and that doesn't look too certain at the moment.

Hopefully we'll get the win tomorrow.
