it would appear by your comments and the results since that they are not good enough or not ready - Flynn looks a good prospect i will give you. But thats only one player - We have one in Andy Bowman who looks a good player so thats one all

There's a lot hovering around the 29 mark too, who aren't exactly long term prospects. With no academy in place, you will be totally reliant on other clubs to get replacements.

Question for you - if you dont manage to tick any boxes on the playing field for a SL licence - next years squad - do you think it will be mainly full of lads for your academy team? Or will you be looking at getting in proven players?

My mentioning your all or nothing mentality this year stems from the fact that you decided to get rid of your academy sides in order to pump the money into the first team. A fact no-one quibbles with on your board.
If you need to run a team as strong next year you will need the same finances and probably won't be able to run your academy again meaning that you won't tick that box which in the opinion of many means that you won't be flavour of the month with the RFL. Youth structures are important to them in terms of you developing players for Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield and and for us to develop players for Saints, Warrington and Wigan.



As for our young players the likes of Saints and Warrington were and are sniffing around them presently in terms of Ostick and Flynn, so they consider them good enough. Yates is quality and will be fanastic with a few more seasons under his belt but managing their confidence is paramount. We have tried throwing players into the first team and getting them to play every match and it doesn't do them any good.
Wilkinson is a man renowned for developing youth players so we'll trust his opinion over yours any day of the week.

My belief that you won't be able to run an academy next year is based on the fact that you haven't been able to this time due to you using most of your money on the first team. That information has come from your board and your fans.
Not quite sure where you are going to get the extra money from next year if you have to use the money to keep as strong a first team which is why I used the word probably...

Littlerich is beyond help im afraid - he is already living over in the darkside. I like seeing whats on your board though - gets a bit rubbish everything running smoothly like it does at fax at the moment.
