Maybe after the end of this season. His defence is still pretty shaky, but his ability to catch the high ball has improved drastically. And there's no doubting his attacking play.

But like FaxHali said, with full time training i'm sure he could pull it all together..

I'm pretty confident about ths one actually, yes the nerves will kick in closer to the game but i am pretty confident.

there is no doubt that Leigh are the best side in the championship this season, but we showed we can beat them and i mean really beat them a couple of weeks ago. there is no way its going to be that 1 sided again though, but what we do have is Brian Noble and there is many things he knows one of them is how to win a close contest

UP THE FAX! i couldnt support any team hailing from a town whose local dish has a name supiciously similair to the slang word for 'Erection' that was commonly used when i was growing up.

There's only one side in Lancashire as you well know. Pretenders like Wire Saints and Wigan and losers like Leigh are merely in our way!

Seriously though, I'd support Saints against Leeds or Bradford, I'd support Swinton or Oldham or Rochdale but Leigh? I think it would be disrespecting them if I pitied them enough to want them to win.

The day I stick up for Leigh is the day they should just give up, and since I'm even backing the Building Society XIII led by Howard Brown over them they can be safe.

I'd certainly prefer Leigh to win, if only to see Matt Calland's face afterwards and the huge chip sat right on his shoulder everytime he opens his mouth.

If Halifax win it will be down to Noble. Lose and it's 'Country Mile' man's fault.

The set up can't work long term, you only had to see Calland's reaction when asked about Noble after the Fev win, laughed to himself and didn't want to talk about it.

The perception of Calland's character to me says he won't like Noble being there.

And yet they would have you believe on the Fax board that it was almost Calland's idea!?!?!
