Okay, it seems were getting a little to many visiting trolls and this board needs someone who gets on a fair bit to clean it up. Can we have another one instated to join the current 3? or does it have to be granted by the elder gods?

I want Pepe to be a mod btw, i think it's time we had someone who uses the board on a regular basis and has respect of his fellow posters.

Only one of them ever really comes on here. I've got nothing against any of the current lot at all but they've either become bored with the place or aren't really in the position to get online as much any more, but we are getting the trolls and it isn't good.

Were going to be infested over the next year too with all sorts of riff raff, We need a Mr T style chap who can dish the whoopass for any visiting trolls. Asterix is a good lad and gets on a fair bit but i dont see much of Alex anymore and Grem Is like Toa only appears a handfull of times over a season.

I'd be happy to dish out whoopass. I don't care if my only role as a mod is to lock threads and ban idiotic trolls on sight. Though I doubt my previous dealings with the messageboard hierarchy would stand me in good stead lol.....

Serious now i like a take,but it not nice when things get personnel.That silivodante trolls on barrow and warrington sites.So to be honest he probably just a football fan.

We should put a poll up and vote on it, then if the majority say yes, put another poll up to vote for who it should be.

I'd agree with this... Alex and Asterix are good lads but it will soon be silly season as we get towards the franchise period...

I think we'd all be happy to oblige, I have a feeling this year might just be quite hostile towards us one way or the other. Thing is we have three mods, some boards have 8, now I'm not saying we need that much, no way, but we'll need keeping an eye on and I'd prefer it to be a widnesian rather than some mouthy hypocritical from the VT.

I don’t want to be a Mod. I’ve done that and didn’t like it. I won’t throw anyone’s name into the hat, but we have some good people on this board who practically live here. People who are clever enough not to over moderate and who would know when to push the button.

Yes, we could all go running to the admin every time we get fed up with a troll, but just having one of our own looking after the board would be better.

Something needs to change. I’m not slagging anybody off here. All the Widnes board mod’s a good people, but they need to moderate the board too, and they're just not doing that.
