tbh looking through the window this morning i thought it would be fine come 3 but obviously these pitch inspections are done hours and hours before. Today sucks, left over turkey and quality street etc. Crap telly to boot too.

I'm not sure about Widnes, but in Warrington, the ice is treacherous. I struggled to get my bike out of the back gate without it falling over on the ice.

Leeds' groundstaff were working from 9am on Xmas day, all through the night to make the pitch playable.

Obviously the groundstaff at the Stobart wanted to leave it to nature
