Quote ="DAVE@CAS1990"Well we are 4 nervous days away now - and I think we can all agree this is now a toss of a coin job. Literally who turns up on the day.
I've lost my faith in "form" and "previous meetings" - they all seem irrelevant now.
Both teams are so well matched in every aspect.
As someone said earlier - if Cas don't win I'll be cheering on Widnes.
I just pray to whatever god is up there, that the team who wins is the best team on the day, and a tight match isn't decided on a poor decision or dodgy call.
As a cas fan I'd either be gutted or embarrassed if that's the case - though I guess right now I'd take it lol.
Credit to both sets of fans for selling out the ground - don't think it was ever in doubt - just wish we had a couple of thousand more tickets to really push the semi - 1 week to go and sold out seems to be a bit of a shame for our sport. We are so "multi-cultural" as fans, I'm sure people from Leigh and the surrounding areas would've turned up on the day to see this game cause it's that highly anticipated.
I know there's a coach load of Hull fans going - it's a shame to have the general public "locked out" so to speak.
I will wish you the best of..... well, no, I won't, I hope you're team capitulate lol but I mean that in the nicest possible way as I'm sure you understand
Here's to a great game that lives up to the hype - one of us is going to Wembley guys!!!'"
Thanks for that mate. Been to many semi finals over the years and they are never about form - just who performs on the day. Played Saints twice in the eighties when we were red hot favourites and came unstuck both times, and that with our great team of the time. Should be a great game with whoever controls the ball and ruck the best coming out on top. Should that be you, hope you go on and win it - the game has got boring with the same old faces winning trophies year in year out.
