| Almost.
That was a tough game. They came to play, unlike some in this division who come to lie on in the tackle or rough us up, they actually played well, fairly, and it took a good effort to take the game.
A typical pre cup final performance, lots of dropped balls and although I felt the commitment was there we missed a final spark at times and credit to the opposition who didn't lack heart.
I'm delighted we won in the end. We almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory but we showed enough heart ourselves to pull it out of the bag in the dying minutes. An entertaining game if not a particularly shining moment in our history.

| Agree with the lack of spark. 1st half we weren't bad per se but we lacked any kind of spark - Dewsbury appeared to want it more. 2nd half, slowly and surely it looked like we were working our way into what should have been an unassailable lead. Quite scary to see the performance drop off so dramatically and you could sense that once Dewsbury had got one try then another would be following shortly. Thank god for the way we were able to pull it back so quickly, as it could have been our play off hopes up in smoke if we'd have lost today.

| We looked disjointed throughout and looked like we were playing 'off the cuff' stuff (sorry ratboy) rather than to any game plan. Dewsbury right from the start went at us knowing we'd have one eye on next week.
Once we went 13 points up and Doran, Thackeray and Heckinburg went off it looked like we switched off thinking game over.
I don't like Netherton and Smithy on the pitch at the same time.
