Mate Smith,Coyle and Haggerty are back soon and hopefully I,Anson ok aswell.Maybe we can get a kicking scrumhalf in the next couple of weeks.Maybe a wildcard?

Completely dominated the game and were it not for an uncharacteristically bad spot kicking game the scoreline would have showed it.

I do think there is room for improvement, but we are missing Smith and many of the faces are still new to each other. We've not had the chance to get a run of the same team together and no doubt we would have been more comfortable this season without the massive injury list.

I know I get despondent sometimes, not always (or often) to do with widnes, but there's nothing like a good win on tv to pick you up. You never know, the worst of it could very well be over, with a bit more luck we could make a much better showing for the rest of the season. On tonight's performance, there is much potential as long as we put the effort in.

Looked like a case of the Cas hoodoo striking again to me. Our season fell apart last season after playing the in the CC. It took so much out of us that we just didnt seem to recover. This season Barrow go and beat them, then go on and give Saints a game and literally had no chance of following it up with a performance last night. They looked visibally out on their feet as early as the first half. Felt a bit sorry for them really, a shadow of the team they can be.

The way fixtures drop is having a big impact on results this year.
We had Bradford, Widnes Thurs, Fev Tuesday, Haven Suns then Fax the next week. That followed recent excursions to France in the CC for 5 days mainly on a coach. We are on our ar$e$ as a result with a small squad and missing 3 DC's.
Could be interesting come play offs as Fax, Barra, Widnes, Fev or ourselves have a decent chance imho

The best performance from us in a long time. Was very impressed with Allen's captains display.
