9.30 is a bit early imo I understand that fans have to travel etc but a few hours later and the pitch could be in a totally different condition

You have to wonder about the economics of installing undersoil heating at our ground though. Apart from a month or so of the regular season, it is not required for rugby grounds and most of the paying supporters who are planning on going to games that are frozen off will return for the rearranged match on a Tuesday night.

Obviously, if undersoil heating means that Everton FC will be inclined to pay the council a higher fee to rent out the ground, then maybe they should get it installed.
