With the Whitehaven - Leeds and now Bradford - Rochdale link ups announced is it time we stepped in?

I know this could add extra cost, BUT for me it is important we don't become a feeder club so our SL application looks much stronger than others, so surely if we had our own link up we'd be matching up to SL clubs in yet another area on apps?

Initially would of been between Rochdale & Blackpool but with Hornets / Bulls done. Panthers main choice!

Crompton as coach, few ex Widnes lads already there, few loans to them already IMO this would be ideal timing aswell!

Good shout is that, both parties would benefit, give our younger lads who are mybe not quite on the fringes of the first team a taste of first team rugby league week in week out.

We mus AVOID being a feeder at all costs, our reputation would probably end up in tatters. It is nice to be held in high regard by SL clubs, but this is an avenue we must never explore.

I'd be keen for Panthers link, Crommo ex Chemics legend I am sure he'd be pleased to help.

We practically are in that mould already. I suppose it'd be no harm to strike up an official deal, and it would mean our youngsters could return as and when we need them.
