| Carlos comes back in for Scott if fit.
Would be tempted to rest Lane or Fash and bring in Brown.

| Savelio to start for Lane
Brown on the bench for Savelio
Carlos in for McIntosh with Scott on the wing. I think Scott reads the plays better and makes better defensive decisions - we will need that against a prolific left edge for Leigh

Agree with this. I get bonaire's point about not changing a winning team but these changes improve us and we need to be better still to beat a bouyant Leigh side.

To be honest I'd be tempted to leave as is other than Savelio to start and drop Lane to the bench at least, though possibly Brown on the bench instead of Lane. Don't think McIntosh other than the catch he dropped or Scott did much wrong to be honest. Though if Carlos is 100% fit then you'd have to say he comes in for Scott or McIntosh with facing a dangerous left edge as harsh as that may seem.

At least he had his wits about him to make sure he had a team mate laid on Fifita when he swung his arm in the tackle and then made doubly sure he safely behind another team mate when he gave Fifita powder puff punch. No wonder Fifita was laughing at the punch.
Going to be another tough game against a team full of optimism and confidence. Our forwards certainly will have to dominate and get us on the front foot to stop Lam from being able to orchestrate their attack especially with Leutele & Charley. Also target Briscoe and pepper him with high kicks.
Big effort needed to match the effort and intensity of Sunday.

| Think we'll beat them by a couple of scores.
They didn't beat us by too much last time and we are playing far better now than back then. Don't think much to their forwards other than Ipape, so I expect us to win the forward battle. Then only have 1 good half in Lam. I know they are flying high and playing well at the moment, but I'd be disappointed if we lost this one to be honest.

Two teams high on confidence but like you would be very disappointed to lose this one as a win gives us the extra bounce we need to beat Saints

Amone, Asiata and ODonnell are all having good seasons. Either of those 3 would improve us.
They are in good form, but so are we. Should be a good game. Fingers crossed we come out on top.

| Well, I'm really glad you guy's have hit form, and well done. This makes it a better game so all fans can get behind their teams, and enjoy a great encounter. Really looking forward to many of your fans turning up and making it a noisy spectacle, and a great game.

Leigh are also miles better then last time we played them. Hope the players dont have this attitide as they will end up the same way, Wire and Saints did at LSV.
I think we can win, whats important to me is just be competitive and be in the game for 80 minutes. Leigh will come at us and they have some quick forwards and ruck.
Be a close one I reckon.

I can't really call this one. Leigh are a good side, better than the team we lost to earlier in the season and at home will be a very difficult proposition. We have to start well, we cannot be chasing the scoreboard and a lot will rest on how we control Lam, if indeed we can. We should be confident, but not overly so, I'd say this is a harder match up than the Warrington game and I'd be telling the players that the ruck speed is vital, give Ipape an inch and he'll exploit it. Thought Dwyer's distribution against Wire, from acting half was abject, so maybe bring Cator in as hooker when Mint is subbed and bring Brown into the team. If Carlos is fit, I'd move Scott to the wing in place of McIntosh, although he did play well his weakness on kicks will be targeted and could cost us.

Cam Scott is none too great under high kicks as well you know?
In fact he’s let a few bounce lately.
They are both very similar for me but only one seems to get criticised

I think Cam Scott is better in the tackle than McIntosh, but DM did well against Warrington, after a shaky start, but like you say neither good with a high ball, though I'd feel more confident, just, with him over McIntosh. , Just my opinion, I just think Scott is a good, solid player, and can cover second row, if absolutely necessary.

| I actually think Mcintosh is a better winger than Scott, apart from the one dropped ball, thought he had a decent game, so I'd keep him in this week.

I think the high ball scenario is just a confidence thing, you dont get to that level and play on the wing if you cant catch a ball. Its obviousley to me just a confidence thing thats why they are letting it bounce. Unfortunatley teams see this and will direct alot of traffic that way.
Scott has being good defensively for me and running forward. Infact Id say Swift at times has looked the weaker of the 3 returning the ball, although every other aspect of Swifts game is far superior. Its a good problem to have but other then Carlos coming back in I think you have to go with the same team.

| With Mcitnosh I feel you get more in terms of yardage, he is actually really good at gaining meters. If he could eliminate some of his silly errors that would his cause massively.
Saw Litten round the ground on Sunday, no medical expert but the way he was hobbling he didn't look ready to be playing a game of rugby on Friday night so expect it to be Mcintosh or Scott on the wing.

Good to see you are slightly changing your opinion on Mcintosh Dave and honest enough to praise him.
I think Scott is more a centre and Mcintosh a winger and that’s where they should play all things being equal.
Catching high kicks is very much a confidence thing and I don’t think too much should be made of the one Mcintosh dropped on Sunday as it was a tough one to take being a meter in from touch

Deserves some praise and seems to just get his head down and work hard. However long term we need better and I'd probably rather give a young winger a game, but Smith sees I different.
