| Tag and Ligi fingers crossed back probably at the expense of Gardiner and Staveley, Carlos maybe a doubt but if he's out Scott centre maybe Litten wing if not fit then McIntosh, still think we get caught out the right hand side a lot but we are improving.

| Salford seem to be our bogey team. I don't think we've got a great record at the AJ Bell either.
Hopefully we can keep improving and get the win

Yeah we do still look a bit fragile on that edge, but there has been improvement. Salford's cup win against Huddersfield, in a bizarre game that saw 82 points scored , with a winning margin of 2, must give us some hope that we can go there and sneak it. Speaking of Huddersfield, maybe it was a blessing that Ian Watson turned us down; they have nothing but pride to play for this year, unless they miraculously win their remaining games, with the biggest and most expensive squad they have ever assembled, he needs to start winning or his position will be seriously in jeopardy, surely? Our team are playing with confidence and that is a big plus, certainly need to keep Clifford fit and Hoy will be better for having had some game time , so there is no reason why we cannot get a win, but I do think their expansive play will trouble us though, so we'll just sneak home and make it 5 from 5, hopefully.

To be honest the fact that Huddersfield put on so many points against Salford gives me hope that we have more than a chance to repay Salford given that Huddersfield have been struggling to score pts of late.
Think our left edge is now a pretty strong both in defence and going forward, but agree the right edge is still hit and miss and a soft spot. Hopefully Carlos is fit which he alluded it was precautionary he came off against Cas with the game already won as his return has seen a steady improvement on that side.
Taylor back and hopefully Ligi's knee issue isn't serious and he'll be back available which will certainly be a big plus for us.
Salford are no mugs under Rowley so its another big test in terms of our continued improvement and being consistent week in week out with our line speed and intensity.

| It'll be a tough test for sure but we'll at least be playing with more confidence than last time.
They've shown they have errors in them when put under pressure.
As long we continue to put in the hard yards and keep getting a little bit better each week then I'll be happy.

| Sao and Taylor back in for Staverley and Gardiner.
I'd be tempted to bring in Mcintosh for Scott too.
Scott to centre if Carlos is out.

| Tough game, Salford are no push overs, think it will be close though. Looking forward to a trip to the AJ Bell, though the £10 parking really annoys me.

We have to get some serious pace onto that wing.
If Scott had pace he would have scored a try yesterday when in the clear but was easily cought.
Think Smith should consider moving Tuimavave into the second row at the expense of Lane to give us a bit more attacking threat, and move Scott back to centre.
Dont think Litten is the answer on the wing (would much rather see him at full back) but neither is McIntosh.
Out of the two i would play McIntosh
When we see Swift in action at the moment it just highlights what we are missing on the right

Potentially back next week I heard, with Sio & Ackers.
Whilst beating Hudds ain't that impressive at the minute (as everyone is doing it ) doing so without half a dozen of our starting 17 is a decent effort. Hudds only had McQueen out from what I could gather.

The way this has come out is pretty scummy if you ask me. Everyone knows KR put a bid in last week which the club flatly refused. This smacks of Iestyn Harris's doing as the same thing happened when Evalds left (Harris is agent for them both apparently).
I mean Dupree has barely played a full season of SL and he's already wanting to jump ship for the £££. If he's insistent on going we should absolutely drain every penny out of KR. He's under contract until 2025 so we can play the long game.

| Minimum changes I would imagine, just Taylor and Sao in for Staveley and Gardiner.
Our recent record against them is strange. Only two wins from the last eight with four hammerings by them but both our wins were comfortable, 35-4 and 48-16.

I certainly wouldn’t disagree and let’s not forget Harris has form himself as a player for this sort of stuff. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more £ signs for Harris than the player. No doubt Dupree will likely go sooner rather than later as I can’t see Rowley wanting a player that sees their future elsewhere. Think it’s poor from the player and agent that has given him his chance, sometimes the grass isn’t always greener as they say.
That aside I’m looking forward to Sunday as it should be an interesting match up and a good gauge as to how far we are progressing since the spanking we got at home.

| If McIntosh is, as rumoured, on his way next year, then I would be sticking Martin or Barron in for this game. I would go Martin, just think he has more physicality than Barron

| I think over the next couple of weeks we should see vast improvements. Hoy, Truey & Cliff all playing together and getting some consistent game time together will pay dividends. I’m shocked how clutch Truey has been in D.
I think the only change I would make would be giving McIntosh a shot again. Looked good for reserves (he’s a better fullback than winger i think) and Scott isn’t a natural winger.
Then Tag and Ligi in for Gardner & Stavely.
How are salford looking in terms of fitness. I think the way to win will be defending around the ruck well. That’s where they’re excellent

| As said previously Salford being very cute in tying players up on long term contracts. Its the only way they can survive nowdays by recouping transfer fees. Dupree now on the open market and will be tied up within the week but who with Rovers Saints Wigan Warrington Huddersfield Catalan even Hull could be swaps & cash deals for it to happen immediately rather than next season
