A great opportunity for the fringe players to stake a claim and put themselves in the forefront of Last's mind especially Scott, Bienek & Masi and some of the more senior players to do likewise and up their game and prove they deserve the chance.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how they go as it looks a very young side and the younger players look to have some hunger in them. The 17 will also be a pretty mobile squad so will be interesting to see how that impacts over the 80mins and whether its a plus or a minus.

I would play him and have Connor on the bench

Said it previously but given our shortage of front rows why didnt the club ask Leigh to release Bienek earlier.

Yeah Wynne has had a couple of games in the first team, he seems to link the play quite well and is strong for his size but can have a short fuse at times. He caused a few problems for teams last season, really looking forward to seeing how he goes.

It may well have been something simply in respect of the cap situation to be honest as to why we haven't used Bienek.

Agree re Satae as he needs to do more than a handful of minutes than he has been doing, plus he certainly has the ability to give us go forward.

That's ridiculous, but probably the right decision in the context of Sunday, speaking of which the Watts tweet about broken ribs was tongue in cheek so he'll be playing for Cas. If we lose both games I wonder what AP's response will be.

I guess the final line up will depend on how unfit the missing players are.

If they're unlikely to play against Cas, Thursday's team could be even "weaker".

It was always likely that a weakened team of fringe players would play against Wakefield so as to play our strongest team in the C/C

Jesus, I hope we can muster some sort of result against Cas otherwise your gonna be on a whineathon for the rest of the season with us likely having nothing to play for.

hope they do well, looks similar to the team that lost to Halifax in the pre season, effort will do for me, anything else and ill be pleased

That’s a lot of firepower out for Wakey still out and it’s pretty much a leveller. In fact I’d say Hull look stronger in the pivotal positions and should start favourites.

BJB and King have also yet to make their season debut this year so will be rusty and a Green is on his 2nd game only since restart.

I see two makeshift teams and the result could go either way.

Last 3 games for wakey we’ve had 11,12 and now 10 players injured or unavailable and I’m sick of seeing us fielding a weakened team.

Anyway will be good to see a few young lads and fringe players from both teams put their foot forwards and make their debuts. I still think you guys have the edge in pivots especially with out 6,7,9 out.

Being a wakey fan is pretty depressing atm but I’m hoping for an entertaining game atleast with high score both teams.
