Assume this will be announced soon. Hopefully we'll have a couple of representatives - thinking Houghton and Ellis - but maybe a few others in contention? Shaul, Fonua, Tag?

Think the most we've ever had is a couple - does anyone know? Would be nice to get a few recognised.

Bateman is a top player but missed 10 games through suspension IIRC.

Played more games than Ellis, on the pitch he has been the best backrower this year,he should be in.

Maybe. Back row is probably the position where there's most quality, can think of plenty of very good players in SL.

Minichello and Ellis should be a shoe-ins as should be Houghton
Tough call between Shaul and Dorn, likwise Gale and Sneyd. Fonua deffo got a strong shout, defence improved and some big plays in offence stand out.

Surely what ever they decide the top 5 contenders for man of steel shouild be a shoe in ? So that's Houghton, Ellis , solomona , sneyde and who was the 5th

The two to miss the cut were Sneyd and Sandow.

Gale will get in and deservedly so IMO, the most complete half in the competition.

If Bateman hadn't had his brain fart 6 week suspension he would have been a shoe in for the Dream Team and up there in the MOS nominations .

Nobody can touch Danny Houghton for MOS in my Opinion . Superb player.

As much as I dislike bateman, he is top quality, however his self enforced break means he's behind currie, ellis and mini in the back row for me. Also expect shaul, fonua, houghton and taylor to be in with a major shout. sneyd to miss out to gale with sandow partnering him although I don't think sandow has played enough or been consistent enough really

Williams with Gale for me, great player

Sneyde made the 5 man man of steel shortlist so should be ahead of these two in theory , think he will get shafted for golden boy williams tho tbh . should be sneyde n gale imo

The shortlist fro MoS came from players, the Dream Team is voted on by the media. Sneyd would not be out of place in the dream team but I suspect Gale will pip him. We'll have five or six which is a great credit to the club.

So did sandow and he'll probably miss out too. gale and williams would be worth inclusions in the team
