What sort of gate can we expect on Saturday - hopefully top the 10K mark?? Anybody got any ideas of how the ticket sales are going? CYOH

The club have done a great thing in pricing this game at a very reasonable level.

£13 for members.

Think I saw something that the East unreserved tickets had all gone. Not sure how many that is though

and free for junior passholders

They've actually done something I have said for ages rugby clubs need to do and that is make tickets a decent price. I wasn't going to this one until I saw it was £13 and I am now. Makes sense to sell tickets cheaper to fill seats you wouldn't fill at a higher price.

Well none season ticket discounted prices, if I had to pay say £24 or whatever it is now with my travel on top of that i might not have been going.

I paid for a membership and it costs me £18/game which equates to a £3/game saving over the normal East stand price though usually buy reserved East stand seat for an extra quid.
Quite honestly an extra few quid 'on top of travel' is neither here nor there surely? It costs me about £40 in fuel/tolls if I drive slowly, roughly the same on train if I leave late on a Sunday/Monday night. There's a few forum members here that come from much further afield than I do.

Whilst I understand the sentiment and it's a nice gesture I don't particularly agree with making the tickets so cheap, not when you already have junior members getting in FOC.
The amount of times I hear RL fans in general complaining how expensive tickets are for internationals/GF etc and will wait for a deal because they know that deals/cheap tickets will come up shoots the RFl in the foot by doing so.
Similarly hearing away fans complaining all the time how 'expensive' it is here, because an extra £2 or £3 compared to whatever the cheapest ticket is at some hola ground with no cover, no seat is the deal breaker in making the effort.
Reducing ticket prices for RL has being demonstrated not to work in the medium to long term

Can't see why anyone would want to miss this one, two evenly matched teams with massive forwards, who are both in form. If you know anyone who hasn't got a ticket yet convince them to come along!

All I will say to that is some people have a lot less money than others. Well done to you for affording that much to support your team but a good lot of fans don't have that kind of disposable income but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to support our team.

I will be spending about £35-£40 for this game so if that had been £50 instead then I wouldn't have been able to go, barely can as it is.

carn`t travel up friday night armavinit,due to my wifes health.

doesn`t cost me anything on the train dave,i get free travel as i`m a retired railwayman,plus it gives me a chance to see my sister.
if it wasn`t for working on the railway,i wouldn`t be able to get to the home games.
