I very much doubt he would have been much more than a guest. One possible plus would be if he was his usual negative self then he might have highlighted some deficient areas to AP which at least mean someone else getting the message through. Knowing our luck though he was probably brown nosing AP as thanks for giving him the free pies.

I don't think its the first time he has been back. I had some tickets a couple of the years ago and also got to go in one of the suites. He was there that night with Lee Crooks.

Perhaps it's time to stop looking to ex-players 'local lads' to do the job for Hull, time to put sentiment (and Radford) aside.

Lee Crooks is coaching under 19s at Newcastle Thunder and is doing an awesome job. He has improved them no end with mainly local lads. They are more than competing with the big boys.

Too right. A proven coach this time. The last time we had one, we won a Challenge Cup, beating ALL Super League sides on the way. We will win NOTHING with Radford. I fear for the Sheffield game, I seriously think we will struggle.

You take a look at the NRL and most great players tend to be kept on within the game , Here we've been fairly poor in keeping experience within our game. For me , It's a shame we haven't got the likes of Schofield , Edwards , Farrell , Hanley, Lydon still in the game . They'd rather take a specialist position within another code or simply fade out of the game .
