My son has asked if there is a link to watch the game live in NZ on iPad.

The game will be shown over there on the Sunday, but it is not live.
I don’t think you can use iPlayer outside of UK

I dont think you you can ex pat shield on the ipad, i think there is a way to get round the ip address but im not tech savvy enough to explain.

Yeah but I know iPads can't do that. HTML stream? There are some sites that work on iPads.

Will have to get some kind of DNS/IP mask to be able to stream the BBC in NZ, it's not about the stream it's about the BBC's licence fee!

If you can find a friend in the UK with something like a Sling box, that will also work.

You would have to buy the Slingbox app however, or watch it on a PC.

I also saw on the iPAD there is an app called "FilmOn Live TV Free" that looks like it gives you access to some streamed TV from the UK if you are abroad. Would that work?

Unotelly and unblockus will both do it. You can get a free trial. It tells you in the instructions how to change the DNS on the iPad.

I use this all the time with US Netflix and Hulu.

Won't the I phone tv catchup app work abroad? If it does you can watch live tv on I Pad/I phone

To watch flash on the iPad, download an app called iswifter and find a stream on firstrow for the match

It was however, according to forum posts removed previously for geographical licence reasons, so I would check that it works in New Zealand well before the match.

Hi I too am an FC supporter living in NZ. The game is being shown at 7am on Sunday morning (25/icon_cool.gif on Maori TV, which is free to air. So this is not live but only about 3 hours delayed. You probably already knew this anyway! Come on u ulll!! Like the Black Eyed Peas sang "I gotta feeling" and it is a good one!!
