Just got back and listening to blunderside - craig ain't happy and how the hell can he say the penalty try was a 50/50? One thing about this numpty is he never is gracious in defeat and he's a very very arrogant coach.

Regardless - fantastic result, i knew we would blow them away, great game plan and tactics by gentle and the players stuck to it well. You could see in the first half we was just trying to grind them down and then would open them up in the second half.

As for burns a disgrace throughout the game, I saw the elbow he gave in front of the posts, disgusting.

What happened towards the end, didn't see it? time to crack open some beers and will watch the recording of it on sky later.

Yes I enjoyed that to Dobbo. Never IMHO in doubt. Not the best first half performance but it was spent mainly in their half and IMHO we ground them down and won at a canter. They will point to many injuries but I don't care. Too easy in the end.

Burns controlled the first half ? I remember him blowing about 3 chances, great job by FC for winding him up.

Thought Eden and Walker was the best two in the first half.

All the pre match talk was of the pressure on FC, Rovers favorites etc etc. Expected Rovers to start strong which they did but we dug in and came into it by 2nd quarter. Coud have been a diffeerent outcome if Lovegrove hadn't got injured in warm up and Eden during game but thought we did a professional job in the 2nd half without playing that well.

Interesting that several references made after Eden injury that it was a massive blow for Rovers but don't recall a mention of Lineham after they had confirmed that he was unable to carry on.

All in all a great result, shame that Bulls couldn't beat Catalan, as things stand were off to France in the playoffs!! Hope we can keep the momentum going as need to avoid that one!

I thought Jay Pitts showed today how valuable and underestimated he is as a forward that rarely gets the applause. He is not a shining light but does the hard work in an effective and competent manner and should be considered for the 17 to play at Wembley.
