I'd be very disappointed and surprised if we let Westerman go. Losing tickle and galea, so even if we did sign an NRL forward we would still need him.

We shouldn't have a problem with cap space with the players we have leaving.

I think we will sign Galloway, thompson and maybe a young back.

Also if we did leave I think he would go to a better club than wakefield

I would be amazed if he went there. He's been good this year and is improving. Only way i see it is if he is on big wages and we need to free up room.

Hardly ties up with Gentles vision of young British players. Cant see it myself and hope not. Thought he was looking a lot lot better on Friday night

I'm trying to keep grounded about Hull at moment but you can see we have the making of something. Westy is and should be integral to that building process so i would be gutted if it to be true.

If he was available I'd imagine he'd have a good enough amount of options to chose a lot better than Wakefield.

Would be disappointed and very surprised if we let him go. Of those out of contract by the end of next season, he'd be joint top of my list to retain along with Whiting. I hope we're already talking to both (as well as Crooks) about extending, TBH.

I wouldn't worry about it Gentle obviously rates the kid, he seems to be enjoying it here & not to sound arrogant or anything but we hardly need the money do we.

Just had a look at the previous team-sheets too & he's only been named at 13 in 4 games, in every other game he's played apart from GF he's played 2nd row. So even if we are signing a 13 I can see Westerman still been in the team.

He'll be going nowhere, particularly not to Wakefield. They already have a world class 13 anyway.

Can't see it myself , plus Wakey have signed chris tuson from next season from Wigan .

Not sure about this myself as would be a good move for us if we're true. Was surprised we got Tuson as Wane rates him and offered him a 3 year deal. Perhaps we have our own little marwan funding us next year.
