Didn't see anything wrong with it at all. If it was the other way around I would have probably said "he pushed him!" When watching the replay, but i wouldnt have said it very loud or convincingly.

Could have gone either way imo for a tv game , Non tv game ... it's a try.

Atkins full on pushed Whiting in the second half but whiting managed to get onto it, but still, should have been a penalty

This. There was contact with the hand, but Atkins was already going down and as others have said, contact was minimal. I look forward to tries being chalked off in future for similar minor infringements, but won't hold my breath

The sort of challenge you will see a dozen times in a game when players battle for a loose ball. Not a penalty then and never should be. Plus the bounce favoured Whiting.

if your going to disallow that try we might as well start playing touch rugby, Whiting has every right to challenge for the ball, and the contact was nothing. To be honest, apart from the forward passes he missed, which is down to his touch judges advising him, i thought Silverwood had a good game. And that pains me to say it, i think my ears are bleeding...

That was a try but to allow the other one to stand after an obvious obstruction was wrong. Swings and roundabouts.
