Given the number of emergency services involved I wouldn't be surprised if the entire section is closed in both directions. Bound to cause major delays in the entire area.

My thoughts though are with all involved and not with a rugby match.

Would expect the air ambulances to land on the east bound carriageway

Just been reading on Sky News and the motorway is closed so wouldn't be surprised if we are effected tonight.....not that it metters in the context of the accident, looks very serious.

Can't see it affecting our game as the players wont be stuck in it. they will just have to set of earlier and use alternative routes.

As others have mentioned its obviously very serious crash and my thoughts are with those affected by it

Passed it about 3pm Eastbound all open and ok. Westbound was just opening 1 lane up.The scene on the Eastbound still looked pretty bad even 4 hours after the accident

Was just live on news and it looks as if it's just the slip road and one lane shut

What an awful crash, thoughts are with the people involved and their families
