Hull FC head coach Peter Gentle has been forced into one change for the trip across to Manchester to face Salford City Reds.
The Black and Whites are without injured back rower Danny Tickle after he injured his knee on Sunday against Catalans Dragons, so forward Chris Green returns to the 19-man squad.
Other than that, it is the same group of players that picked up a fine win against the Dragons at the KC Stadium.
Squad: Arundel, Bowden, Briscoe, Crookes, Crooks, Green, Hadley, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Lineham, Lynch, McDonnell, O’Meley, Pitts, Shaul, Watts, Westerman, Whiting

Gentle said at the weekend he likes to keep Whiting on the bench and play him through the middle, so it wouldn't surprise me to see Pitts play on the right with Green at loose man, and Whiting to come off the bench and rotate.
Should be more than enough to beat Salford though.

 Thank god someone came out with that. People were knocking Gentle for playing people out of positions instead of youngsters. Now he's doing that (Yes most being Forwards) some are questioning him.
Yes people entitled to there opinion but when that opinion changes all the time.. Come on it's one or the other.
Don't all the big teams blood some of their youngsters against so called weaker teams??? |

No one is knocking playing them as we don't have a choice but do you think gentle wants 6 or 7 of his 17 with virtually no SL experience betwen them? He's doing it because he has to |

I never mentioned anything about people questioning him for playing youngsters.. I said playing people out of position INSTEAD of youngsters.
Yes we may need them to fill in the gaps. But the youngsters that have played haven't produced a bad game yet. They all deserve a spot in my eyes. They bring passion to the shirt. |
