I am sure whoever is investing in L**ds Utd is much more interested in L**ds Utd than they are in Hull FC.

At least he's not on the dole anymore as our red & white friends like to remind us.

Would trust this as Burnsy seems to have a good relationship with Pearson, he was the first to break the news of Pearson's HullFC takeover.

Yup, reading between the lines, he really wanted to say "I can't afford L**ds until I make Hull worth more than I paid for it, and that will take at least 3 seasons"

Originally Pearson dropped an extremely unsubtle hint in an interview that he was interested in Leeds. GFH then knocked him and his consortium back [preumably because they wanted 51 %
Only 2 weeks later and Pearson is saying not interested and he is commited to Hull FC....presumably to sweeten elements in Hull who were ed off by his apparent interest in leeds.
Smells like a political U turn to me.

Back to the Good Old Days, The Boulevard pitch c1980/81 and 500 tons of sands,

I always remember a Rovers fan running on before a game with a bag of grass cuttings. He sprinkled them onto the Boulevard and was promptly escorted out.

Before almost every City game after the warm up and before kick off they water the pitch presumably to make sure the players can slide on their knees when they do their soppy goal celebrations.

I remember the incident with the grass cuttings, really funny, I'm not sure that he was thrown out. The Threepenny Stand rounded on the stewards when they were escorting him from the pitch.
