Was at the local McDonalds and there is Cameron Smith

and family. I have my young daughter there after her tennis lesson. Anyoldhow , the kids are all larking and I got into a bit of chat.

We talked Lee Jackson , Rich Swain , Stephen Kearney CC 2005, and our new signings.

He thought highly of Daniel Houldsworth and Rangi Chase.

That led me on to telling him about how he should sign for Hull FC for 1 year when he feels he is ready for a change. I advised him the Chairman had deep pockets and that he would fly all his family over for the year ! His son is 3 and I told him he could go and play 'Maggots' rugby and he said his son would love that



I have to say Cameron Smith now knows who Hull FC are and he knows there is a filthy dark side of rugby based in the east somewhere. I got a pic for my FB and who knows , the seeds have been planted.

They were very chatty and a nice family.

Would be amazing to see him in a Hull shirt, can't see it though.
If I bump into any NRL stars il have to do the same.

Cameron Smith in black & white would be amazing. Won't happen i am sure any more than me and Kylie M. If it did I am certain some would say hes rubbish.

Can't believe that a top superstar in the NRL is at McDonalds. shocking top player in take away restaurant. Nailed on for us.

Think he had pancakes. A lot of Aussies are just real down to earth and also the kids are safe to rive around for an hour whilst you have a coffee and read the papers etc

They do say that 70% of Aussies are classed as overweight or obese though and by 2020 it will be 80% .

Will be taking my SOO programme next Sunday for an autograph and will give him a copy of the 2005 CC final on DVD
