| What have been your favourite Hull tries?
For me, joint first are the two runaround tries from Topliss and Kemble we scored in the '82 Replay at Elland Road. One from a quick tap penalty, the other from a scrum against the head. Widnes fell for the same move twice in three minutes. (I'm surprised we haven't used the move more over the years? )
After that I'd choose Ronnie Wileman outpacing Georgie Girl down the blindisde at Headingley in the 1982 John Player Final ('82 was a good year!)
In third place, I'd have Steve Prescott v Saints/Albert at the KC. Pure Hollywood.

Definitely.
Prekkie's interception and shrug off against Saints with an epic dive.
Also Tom Briscoe's against Rovers at KC a nice 90 meter I think.

| The kick from the base of the scrum in the GF semi at KC against Bradford.
The try that Blacklock jumped to catch and then went length of the field.
Some of the tries that Briscoe has scored have been top notch.

| I can't remember if it was all their debuts or the first time Endacott, Vaikona and David played together for Hull, but they put on a lovely move for a try.
I've never felt so optimistic as a fan.

| Gareth Raynor's against Warrington at the HJ is one that I always think of, plenty of videos on Youtube of it too.
Also a lot of the tries Shaun Briscoe scored were good tries, brilliant support full back in his time.

| 1. Doncaster away at Tattersfield back in the mid Nineties. Vaikona picked the ball up from a kick off by his own right corner flag, ran directly across field to the opposite wing, fed Paul sterling on the 20 metre who then went 80 metres screaming down the wing finishing in the opposite corner of the field from where the move started.. Incredible try. We went on to loose the game. Chico knocked on from a kick restart and we didn't touch the ball again for 10 mins, in which time Donny scored 3 tries. Bizarre game that one, and my only visit to Tattersfield. Don't make grounds like that anymore.
2. Gary Kemble, Yorkshire cup final v Rovers at Boothferry Park in 84. Rovers dropped out from under their sticks, Kemble catches on the centre spot and runs the ball straight back down the wing infront of the old Kempton before putting the ball down next to the corner flag.
3. Leuluai, v Cas, semi final of the challenge cup in 83 i think. Breaks through around half way and then side steps 3 times to leave the full back on his . Did the same thing at Wembley in 85, think the semi one was just slightly better though. If you search for James Leuluai on the well known video sharing site you'll find them both.

I was stood on the kop at elland road that day and had a great view of the try (can't remember if it was head on or behind), totally majestic the way he changed direction so many times
Also remember a couple of wonder tries from paul sterling in his time with us (one at fev I think) and also kevin james dancing down the threepenny touchline on his debut as a trialist

the mcaffrey try is my favourite, also the garry nolan winner in the premiership semi against leeds at the boulevard created absolute pandemonium on the terraces. also preccies 80 yarder v saints in 2003 was a belter.
