Much as I'd like to see yeaman get the nod, I think steve mac needs to go with bridge and atkins in the 4 nations. Thankfully, even he can surely see that turnstyle welham is not even worth considering

Yeamo is a better defender than Bridge, but Yeamos ability to have a brain fart and leave the line is a problem.

But it's MacBanana picking the team, so who knows, Welham will probably get the nod!

I think Yeamo's partnership with Briscoe will be enough to give him the nod over other players

In all fairness to Welham tonight, he and Hall were left very exposed because our forwards were getting absolutely demolished leaving them 4 or 5 men to mark at times.

rubbish, both were shown up as being fairly useless players, you don't need a new coach next season, you need a f'ng miracle given who you've signed.

Atkins had a disappointing trip down under in last years 4 nations but his current form is outstanding, best centre in super league bar none and has probably played his way into the left centre berth for England.

Bridge right centre with Jack Reed as backup judging by all the media reports claiming he is about to commit to England after Macca came calling.

Pretty certain Inglis is out for the rest of the season, still Billy could still run over him.

Bridge should be right centre and its a straight choice between Yeaman and Reed for left centre.

Unless players get picked out of position.

id also like to see a england under 20s team introduced, the aussies and kiwis play each other very often at this age and its a very very good standard highlights on the well known video site. having the knights under the first team playing nations like france, samoa, png ect is fantstic but i think to even improve the pathway lets introduce a under 20s tri nations

I'm uncertain on Atkins due to how he was shown up in last year's 4N's. It was pretty bad.

Then again, I thought that Shenton was awesome in the 4N's but he's had a quiet season.

Yeaman I'm unsure of; he's had a good season but still occasionally rushes out of the line and misses.

I think I would have Bridge at right-centre.

I haven't seen enough of Reed to comment on him, but he sounds a good prospect.

I don't think that Welham's defense is good enough for international, even though he's good in attack.

If Watkins gets another season under his belt without injuries I'd say that he could be in with a shout next year.

IMO he is the most over rated player in SL there is all this talk of how he is going to be 'the next big thing' but I just don't see it.

An Under 20s series is definitely the next logical step towards the international development of the game.

Welham should be nowhere near an Engalnd shirt, his defence is terrible!! Hopelessly out of position and poor tackling. It was only Cats they were playing last night not a world 13. Inglis won' be having any sleepless nights, put it that way.

I can fully appreciate the reason for Yeaman's popularity on here, and I agree he is a good centre.

However, surely if we are picking a side on form, then Atkins as to be a shoe-in at number 4??....Yes, he had a torrid time last year, but he has come on again this season, and in the last month looked very impressive.

Saying that, the names being put forward here as potential Tri-Nations centres, simply show that at international level, the three-quarters are the one area where we are truly a million miles behind the Aussies and Kiwis.

Kevin Penny could probably chase down Brisoce aswell but speed alone doesnt make you a good player although Welham is a good player he seriously needs to tighten up his defence before even being considered for England, Welham isnt even on the same planet as Briscoe.
