No definately not. One of the reasons we have been consistently average to poor is because we have consistently average to poor players like Washbrook playing for us

We'll need to find a good named replacement if he does go - what will replace "Where's Washy?" in the programme if he leaves?

I would give him a contract if he could prove to me he has good vehicle planning skills and is computer literate.

good player washy when played in the right position ,thats back row or loose man ,hes got plenty of sl exsperience and hes british ,as long as hes not asking the world hes a good squad member and i would keep him ,you carnt have 26 /27 superstars with the cap ,unless your wire that is ,so like whiting hes a valued member of the squad for me,modest 2 year deal

we dont need to be chucking loads of players on the dole ,we need a fresh comander in chief and new ideas on the training pitch ,hornes done ok at giants and i dont see any real difference with him and washy both decent squad players who can cover a number of positions if required ,which hopfully next year with the cover we have in the halfs wont be washy in there

Totally agree with this one, Danny has been a good servant, unfortunatley think he is at the end of the road with regards to progession, but he's a solid player and he would provide solid cover. Don't think he's on enough as it is to warrant a pay cut though...

My thoughts excatly. Very good defensive player and can do a job in the back row when required. Never been a half bak or hooker.

Which SL clubs would sign Washbrook if he was available? Wigan , Wire , Sts , Leeds , Catalan? Don't think so. I'd rather give a youngster a chance than have him block any chance of their development.

If Pearson wants the Hull to be the best team in SL , Then realistically Washbrook wont get anywhere near the 18 in the future. Maybe a better quality of coach could do something with him .

if thee where quality british alternatives available id agree with you but there isnt ,wen we thought hock was available tbf the club made him an offer ,any british player who is quality is like gold dust in sl at the moment

I like Washy but the only position I would use him is loose forward and we already have Westerman for that position and could also use Whiting so I can't see where he fits in?

He is not good enough as a hooker and we have two next season anyway and we have plenty of halves and he won't get in ahead of those.

I could see Wakey or Widnes being interested.

We have to be ruthless if we have aspirations of challenging the top 4....we should ger rid. I like Washy as he always tries hard whatever position he is asked to play....for me he lacks that speed of thought/football brain...Westerman has this...Washy doesn't.
