Fascinating. Promised £1000 each by David Lloyd to win that game v Sheffield to stay up and never got it. Thought Walsh was a decent coach. Shame that such a good player had bad luck financially speaking at all the clubs he played for.

Thought Carney did a great job too. It was very moving but not overly sentimental if you know what I mean. Interesting that he came back to Hull off the back of bumping into McRae in Princes Quay. And can never see [uthat[/u try too many times. Humbling to hear his story. |

should not laugh put when steve said when he was still at fc when they had to beat sheffield to stay in S.L david lloyd said the players would get £1,000 each he is still waiting for the cash now

Fantastic half hour. Legend is a seriously overused word when describing sportsmen but Steve was a great player and is a true legend of the game and life in general. Inspiring.

just watched it again,the guy is a legend and there isnt enough words to say about him,some of the things he is doing for charity is incredible,even the fittest of people would struggle to do them,his next challenge is nothing short of mind boggling,steve needs all the support he can muster up,ill be donating something later.
