I'm just glad he doesn't have the full support of the full professional team under him and that more non professionals in here know better then them about the game

Given the identical conditions & 2.5 years in charge virtually carte blanche & with the playing personnel we've had I'm quite confident some posters on here would have done better over the 2 previous seasons than Agar.
I'd still rather get rid & employ someone who can bring us a trophy winning formula, sadly Agar has shown he is unable to man manage on umpteen occasions during his reign, shown cluless tactics in games time after time & our brand of rugby for the most part under him has been dire beyond belief.
We play a very good 45-50 minute spell of footy & all of sudden Agar is untouchable again, sorry he is still not good enough by far.

What a joke!!....we go to the stoop where we have never won!! rack up our biggest score in 3 years without our h/backs and we still get numpties calling for his head.

Just like you're Pro-Agar, others hold the right to have a different opinion. Just as one bad result shouldn't result in "Agar out" nor should one good result change it to an Agar love in!

My own opinion is that the league position is an improvement; but our play is dire. Can you honestly not say that we are quite possibly the most boring team in SL to watch if it wasn't for our partisanship? Agar is to blame for that. We are at full salary cap, so why aren't we producing the quality rugby league that Wire/Pies/Rhions/Saints demonstrated over the weekend? Only one man responsible for that.

Our 1st half performance yesterday clearly was not dire...our 2nd half performance against saints was clearly not dire, our performance against KR was clearly not dire....Oh and let us not forget we managed this without our 2 h/backs, lack of h/backs forces us to play basic rugby on most occasions.

So on three occasions we weren't SL's most boring grinders! The squad is Agar's as we were constantly told; so it is he who has failed to furnish the squad with enough versatility and class to withstand the absences of Horne and Long.

He clearly has not failed because we have won games without them both being on the pitch, also without our other (more) important signings Fitz & O'Meley, but don,t let that fact get in the way of your argument!!

Fair point, but you have to take on board the fact that the h/backs (most creative players) are not on the field...which reduces our play to basic (safer) rugby, although to be fair we have on occasions delivered some entertaining stuff without them on the pitch, and tbf to Agar this has worked as we are still in 4th, it may not be the most entertaining stuff for the fans, but we need to finish as high as possible for the play-offs.

We can hope they are both back in time for the play-off,s.

If I offered you a swap today, Agar for Potter/McLennan/Maguire/Smith would you take it? Or would you stick with the West Yorks Wonder?

Would take Maguire as most would, but I have accepted we have Agar for the next 2 seasons, and I hope for the sake of my club he can get us some silverware

Have to agree with this. I have a stack of games on my SKY box that we've won and I can't even be bothered to watch them because they're so dull.

Is there anywhere online where I can check which halfs have played in each game this season? Would be interesting to see how many games long and horne have played in, how many combos we've had and the success rate with different halfs playing

Hull FC.com shows team sheets but you'd have to look at each one individually. Richard Agar said at the fans forum that Horne & Long had only played 4 times together, Saints away (won), Huddersfield home (won), Wigan away (Lost), Rovers away (won).

I think they have played 5 games together earlier in the season..Saints, KR unable to remember the other 3..
Although I think the Crusaders was one and we were pants in that one.
