Nice to see McNamara speaking very favourably about the KC Stadium (and city of Hull) in today's HDM, stating his hopes for a return to international games here. Couldn't agree more, we should never have lost them in the first place.

I agree. don't know if I'm right here but was is something to do with Duffen when he was at City, not in favour of them being played?
I also feel that one of the Semi's of the Challenge Cup should be at the k.C. Some will say it's too far to travel, but if you're in the Semi's you will travel. Only the same as one of say hull or rovers having to travel.

I hope so as international rugby is what SL and so on is all about, providing the meat for the international grinder

International RL is not something that really bothers me to be honest, i will watch it and i have been to the occasional game but for me Hull fc is more important.
Good for the city if they can get an occasional international though.

As soon as they stop messing about and get rid of the England team and pretend world cups, populated with second/third generation Aussies I'll be interested in it again.

Lets just go back to Kangaroo tours, where the aussies play the SL champs and runners up, the winners of a Yorks v Lancs Origin match, before a three mach test series against GB. 6 games

With a similar tour for us over there. Play the NRL Champs, QLD and NSW, before a three match series. 6 games.

Though we could quite possibly struggle to win a game over there....

With regard to a semi final, I can't ever see that happening. Even if rovers and Cas were in the semi, can you see Cas being happy about it being a "neutral" venue? There are too many other venues in West Yorks avilable for a yors derby.

Unfortunately due to Hulls Geographic location, we are always going to have to travel for a Semi. But at the end of the day, the furthest we would have to go is Huddersfield.

I have to admit to knowing a lot of people in the game who dislike with a vengence the scrapping of Great Britain as a team , The Kiwis and the Aussies want to play the Lions and vice versa ... one of my greatest ever footie memories is watching GB beat OZ in Sydney !! possibly the greatest night out I have ever had too followed by a week in Hong Kong and a couple of nights in Kowloon I would rather forget
